For the most part, I like the daily free press. However, this article was one of the worst articles I have ever read. Has the author ever been to New York? I feel insulted that the author calls all New Yorkers “closed-minded” when he’s the one who is saying such glittering generalities about crime and drugs. Ever since Guiliani took office, the crime rate has dropped dramatically and the city’s hard approach against “squeegee men” and pan handlers has lowered the crime rate. Also, if the author has actually went to New York City and only seen Al Franken, well he should be happy since thats 1 more celebrity than I have ever seen in Boston. Sarcasm is great, but not when its full of old facts and figures.
