I want to say thank you to Ken Partridge for his article concerning Joe Strummer’s passing (‘Joe Strummer’s lifetime of Clashing,’ Jan. 23, Muse pg. 3). The Clash, and Joe Strummer in particular, has had a huge influence on my life. After his death last month, the articles that discussed his life were far from sufficient they hardly touched on the incredible talent that Strummer possessed. This story is one of the first I have seen that adequately covers his outstanding abilities. Thank you.
