The 18th annual Back Bay Ball will be held tonight at the Park Plaza Hotel.
The semi-formal dance, organized by the Boston University Student Union Programming Council, is open to all BU students.
The event will be semi-formal but many male students choose to wear tuxes, Morganstern said. The group usually sells 1,500 tickets to the event, and has purchased masks accordingly, he added.
As of yesterday, tickets were still available for $30 each on the fourth floor of the George Sherman Union. Tickets will be available until 5 p.m. today, but may also be available at the door, he said.
Morganstern said the cost of renting the room at the Park Plaza usually equals the amount received through ticket sales. Profits, Morganstern said, go toward other programs the Programming Council runs throughout the year.
