Icedogs drop Hockey East title game to New Hampshire

One night after pulling out a 6-5 double-overtime vistory over Boston College, the Boston University hockey team gave defending Hockey East champion, the University of New Hampshire, all it could handle on Saturday night, falling 1-0 in overtime of the Hockey East championship game.

BU junior goalie Sean Fields earned MVP honors, becoming just the third player from a losing team to bring home the award. Despite the loss, the Terriers are still in line for a No. 1 seed when the NCAA Tournament brackets are announced next weekend.
