I would like to formally apologize to the Boston University community for the event BU4Kerry planned to hold last Saturday April 3rd. BU4Kerry’s “Kegger for Kerry” was an inappropriate event. We did not mean to cause the University or the campaign any embarrassment or trouble. The event reflected badly upon our student organization, BU and John Kerry. We are sorry and would like to respectively say that as soon as we were approached by an adult with concerns about the event, it was cancelled. BU4Kerry hopes to be able to host events in the future at the University and to continue to motivate students to become involved in John Kerry’s Presidential Campaign.
