Re: “Get Creationism Right”

In response to Matthew Schoolfield’s argument, I would like to offer additional information regarding the Intelligent Design controversy. In his letter to the editor, Schoolfield says that Darwin’s Black Box by Michael J. Behe is “the only (and [he] cannot express this enough), only legitimate book regarding the subject…” I would personally like to inform readers that Behe is an advocate for the Wedge, an organization determined to revive theism in schools and culture. The Wedge believes that “Design theory promises to reverse the stifling dominance of the materialist worldview, and to replace it with a science consonant with Christian and theistic convictions.” More about the wedge strategy can be viewed at: http://www.antievolution.org/features/wedge.html Thus, Behe’s book cannot be considered unbiased, and I leave it to the reader to determine whether Behe’s so called scientific findings are merely a persuasive, well-hidden advocacy for theistic principles.
