Men’s soccer goalie Zach Riffett has started five of the last seven games as the Terriers near the end of regular-season play, going 2-1-2 in October.
In those five games, the junior recorded his first collegiate shutout, a 1-0 victory over Albany (also the Terriers’ first AE win). Riffett notched his second shutout in the scoreless tie with New Hampshire on Oct 22. Riffett is 5-2-3 on the year and ranks fifth in the conference in saves per game with 3.90. His 1.28 goals-against average places him eighth, yet the Texas native has allowed just four scores in October.
