Freshman goaltender Allyse Wilcox is already making noise in the Hockey East scene. The women’s ice hockey rookie has received two conference honors (Rookie of the Week and the reigning Defensive Player of the Week) and has a 2.22 goals-against average, good for No. 4 in Hockey East.
In her seven games between the pipes, the Michigan native has recorded 202 saves (tops in the conference) and has a .927 save percentage (No. 3 in Hockey East). Wilcox has allowed just 16 goals and boasts a 3-1-3 (2-1-2 Hockey East) record heading into weekend play.
