Dear Editor,
I read your opinion regarding gay “priests” being allowed in the Catholic Church. It is clear that you are extremely uneducated on Catholic church doctorine. A good reporter would do a little research before he/she were to write about a subject.
First, the laws of God supercede any natural laws created by “men.” Therefore, the Church has no obligatin to answer to the state when rejecting homosexuals in the priesthood.
Second, state laws are subject to change depending on who is in office, but God’s laws will never change. So much for your “progressive,” new church you were hoping for. I’m afraid you’ll have to find that in your own church, perhaps one you can start with all the new and progressive views you think make for good government.
So many other uninformed comments in your editorial that frankly I just dont have the time to comment on them.
