BU Westtown student dies/unfair journalism

The writer of the letter accusing the journalist of false reporting re the death of the BU student from Westtown, PA.

In his letter he accuses the journalist of being inaccurate as the journalist wrote that the student is from Westtown, PA when—according to the complainer, the student is “from West Chester, PA”—according to the student’s own parents.

Letter writer/accuser: do your homework next time.

Westtown IS in West Chester PA. I know. I Live here. Our township is called Westtown and it is within the larger West Chester area—and our postal addresses are West Chester. If anyone asks a resident where they live, they more often than not would say West Chester. We pay West Chester Area School District taxes, kids go to West Chester area schools….the parents were totally accurate—as was the journalist.

So try getting your own facts straight the next time you are throwing darts.
