The problem with the Kyoto Protocol

It is interesting that Maggie Francis accused Stroll of presenting misleading statistics in a sentence right after one in which she presented a misleading statistic. The fact that 48 Nobel Prize-winning scientists supported Senator Kerry has no bearing on her argument, unless Francis tells us how many of them were environmental scientists who are more credible than the scientists engaged by the President.

In fact, there are studies that have shown that the majority of U.S. academics (including Kerry’s 48 Nobel laureates)are Democrats who would have supported Kerry regardless of Kyoto. Your statistic is interesting, but totally irrelevant to your argument. So, Ms. Francis, if you are going to accuse someone with whom you disagree of presenting misleading statistics, don’t use the same tactic yourself.
