Trucking people over

The following reports were taken from the Boston University Police Department crime logs from March 25 to March 31.

A caller reported an ice cream truck parked illegally at the George Sherman Union at 11:45 a.m. March 30.

FEELING CATTY

A caller reported two men in front of 140 Bay State Road catcalling at 6:09 p.m. March 28. Police responded by asking them to leave and issuing a warning.’

HE BANGS, HE BANGS

A caller reported a group of men threatening to beat up another man on Ashford Street at 1 a.m. March 28.

ICECAPADES

A caller reported people on the ice at Case Gymnasium engaging in ‘unauthorized’ activity at 8:32 p.m. March 27.

THAT IS NOT A ROCK WALL

A caller reported suspicious activity at 10:17 p.m. March 26.’ The party in question was climbing up and down the roof at 820 Beacon St.’ He said he was practicing for rock climbing.

MAYBE CGS SHOULD BRING BACK ITS SCIENCE
REQUIREMENT

A caller reported people throwing things off the fire escape of 654 Beacon St. at 12:20 p.m. on March 25.

IT JUST SMELLED LIKE MY BEDROOM

A caller reported a homeless person sleeping in the first floor men’s bathroom of 656 Beacon St. around 2:36 p.m. March 25.

GUNS AREN’T FUN

Officers received a call about a man running on Bay State Road with a gun around 8:11 p.m. March 25.’ A thorough search of the area by BUPD, Boston Police and Massachusetts State Police returned no results. The call was believed to be a prank.

STUDYING HARD
‘- ALCOHOL, THAT IS

A caller from Mugar Memorial Library reported four men on Bay State Road who appeared drunk, one of whom was screaming and causing a disturbance at 5:30 p.m. March 28. The officers spoke with the group and determined they were OK at the time.

STICKY SITUATION

A caller reported a suspicious man causing a disturbance at the 2195 Commonwealth Ave. City Convenience at 7:44 p.m. March 28.’ The man was wandering in and out of the store, yelling things and holding a stick with a bag on the end of it. The man was removed and warned.
