Stealing? There’s an app for that

The following reports were taken from the Boston University Police Department crime logs from Nov. 11 to Nov. 17.

A BU student reported her iPhone was stolen at 871 Commonwealth Avenue at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 14. The caller said she realized she had dropped her phone after a lecture in the Jacob Sleeper Auditorium and retuned to find it missing.

LOVE LOCKDOWN

A caller reported that their laptop and $20 was stolen from the locker room in FitRec at 915 Commonwealth Avenue between 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 17. BUPD found the locker severely damaged.

JACKED DANIELS

BUPD responded to a call at 745 Commonwealth Avenue at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 12. The caller, a BU employee, reported their office had been burglarized. A laptop and a bottle of whiskey were missing.

HE SHOULD HAVE HELD IT

A caller reported that his Mac laptop was stolen from 775 Commonwealth Avenue at 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 12. The BU student said he left his backpack unattended while he went to the restroom and returned to find it stolen along with his calculator and textbook.

MO’ PROBLEMS

BUPD responded to a call from a BU employee at 745 Commonwealth Avenue at 11 a.m. on Nov. 16. The caller said $100 was stolen off of their desk when they left their office unattended.
