StuVi ‘2’ much fun

The following reports were taken from the Boston University Police Department crime logs from Nov. 20 to Nov. 24.

BUPD responded to a call at Student Village II at 10:45 p.m. on Nov. 21. Police cited two BU students for underage alcohol possession after a party they were having became too loud.

SUCKS TO BU

A BU student reported he had $600 stolen from him near 44 Cummington St. at about 1 p.m. on Nov. 23. The student said a man approached him seeking to find help for towing his vehicle back. The suspect then told the student he would give him a personal check for $600 in exchange for $600 cash. The student agreed to cash the check, and called BUPD after he found out it was fraudulent.

GET A RINK

A caller reported a fight at 925 Harry Agganis Way at 10 p.m. on Nov. 21. BUPD found several people involved in a fight in the Agganis Arena garage, but did not file any charges. BUPD suspects that alcohol was involved.

BYE-BYE, BAGGIE

A caller reported that his gym bag had been stolen from the Fitness and Recreation Center at 925 Commonwealth Ave. at 10 p.m. on Nov. 21. The BU student said he placed his bag in a cubby to return to find it missing, along with $250 worth of clothing and electronics.

FIGHT FOR YOUR RIGHT TO PARTY

BUPD responded to a call from Rich Hall at 2:30 a.m. on Nov. 22. Two BU students were found having a fistfight in the lobby of Rich. Neither wanted to press charges and both were later released.
