The following reports were taken from the Boston University Police Department crime logs from Jan. 27 to Feb. 3.
A caller reported that something had been stolen from their apartment at 580 Commonwealth Ave. on Feb. 3 at 10:30 a.m. The caller said their queen size mattress had been missing since 2 p.m. on Jan. 30.
TAKE ONE DOWN, PASS IT AROUND
BUPD responded to a caller who reported a theft at 213 Bay State Road at 1 p.m. The caller said someone had stolen his six-pack of Samuel Adams beer sometime over the weekend.
TAKE A LITTLE TRIP
A caller reported that his visa was stolen from the Foundation Lounge at 500 Commonwealth Ave. on Jan. 21. at about 12 a.m. The caller waited to report the missing passport until Jan. 27, hoping he would find it later.
CHECKING IN?
BUPD arrested a 26-year-old man for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest at the Hotel Commonwealth at 3 a.m. on Jan. 28. The intoxicated man argued with hotel staff and police, claiming he had a reservation at the hotel when, in fact, he did not.
JUST (DON’T) DO IT
A caller reported burglary in the men’s basketball locker room on Jan. 28 at 2 p.m. The caller said someone must have entered the locker room over the weekend and stole sweatpants and a “very expensive” pair of Nikes.
BURNIN’ THE MIDNIGHT “OIL”
BUPD took one student into custody after he was found to have possessed slightly more than the legal amount of marijuana at 273 Babcock Street on Jan. 29 at 12 a.m. The student was then summoned to court for the marijuana violation.
