I Guess They Reached Her Telephone

The following reports were taken from the Boston University Police Department crime logs from Mar. 3 to Mar. 17.

A caller reported that her cell phone was stolen from 915 Commonwealth Ave. at about 3 p.m. on March 4. The caller said she was attending a physical therapy appointment in the Fitness and Recreation Center.

OLD SCHOOL

BUPD responded to a call at 5:45 p.m. on March 12. The caller said their camcorder had been stolen from one of the recital halls inside of the College of Fine Arts at the end of February but waited to report the crime until now.

HUBBA HUBBA

A caller reported that someone had vandalized his car parked at 25 Buick St. at 6:30 p.m. on March 15. The caller alleged that someone had stolen the hubcaps off of each wheel of his car.

OH BEANS

BUPD received a call from a female student reporting her wallet had been stolen from her backpack on March 16 at about 6:15 p.m. at 685 Commonwealth Ave. The student said she did not remember when or where her wallet went missing exactly, but guessed it happened somewhere in the College of Arts and Sciences.

OFF TO A ROCKY START

A caller at 915 Commonwealth Ave. reported stolen equipment at 11 p.m. on March 4. The caller said several pieces of rock wall climbing equipment were stolen from FitRec.

BARE NECESSITIES

A BU employee reported that her car had been broken into at 92 Mountfort St. at 5 p.m. on March 16. The caller said she returned to her car to find a backpack, clothing and medication missing from her vehicle.

THE DANGERS OF
EXERCISE

BUPD responded to a report of a robbery at 915 Commonwealth Ave. on March 9 at 4 p.m. The caller said lockers inside FitRec were broken into and that his iPhone, Citizen’s watch and cash were stolen.
