CAMPUS CRIME LOGS: Whack Job

<em>The following reports were taken from the Boston University Police Department crime logs from Sept. 20 to Sept. 27.</em>

A female student reported to BUPD that she saw a man expose his penis to her while he was masturbating at 1 Buswell St. last Monday. BUPD searched the area and found someone who matched the victim's description on Mountfort Street. When the suspect saw the police, he took off running. BUPD caught and arrested the suspect at 10:50 p.m. for open and gross lewdness.

<strong>Don't Go Chasing Waterfalls</strong>

The BU women's hockey team reported that a large quantity of water was stolen from a locker room at 285 Babcock St. on Wednesday. A total of 14 cases of Poland Spring water, valued at $85, were taken. The victims reported the theft might have occurred between Sept. 13 and 17.

<strong>Home Shoplifting Network</strong>

On Tuesday, a female student reported that an unknown person had used her credit card to make a $390 purchase from the Home Shopping Network.

<strong>A Street Nug Named Desire </strong>

At 8:50 a.m. on Thursday, a female student called BUPD to turn over a small quantity of marijuana. The student found the marijuana in a small plastic bag in the hallway of the second floor of residence hall 1019 Comm. Ave. BUPD confiscated the marijuana.

<strong>The Green Monster</strong>

On Wednesday, BUPD approached a green Mercury Marquis parked in the median at 1077 Beacon St. at 3:54 a.m. The police noticed the driver was asleep with the keys in the ignition. BUPD found the driver was intoxicated and called the Brookline Police. Brookline Police then arrested the driver and found a bag of marijuana on him.
