Campus Crime Logs: Domin-UH-oh!

The following reports were taken from the Boston University Police Department crime logs from Oct. 4 to Oct. 11.

On Oct. 9, a student reported someone had fraudulently used his Terrier card to purchase a large quantity of pizza on various occasions from the Domino’s Pizza in Allston. The student claimed his card went missing last year and bought a new one. The student has since cancelled his card.

Dunkin DOUGH…nuts

The manager of the Dunkin’ Donuts at 10 Buick St. reported that an employee took money from the register. The manager told the police that the employee had rung up purchases, but had not put the money in the register. The employee reportedly took the money on Oct. 6, between 6 a.m. &- 9 p.m. Police will review video footage for evidence.

Cluckin n’ Pluckin

On Oct. 4, the manager of Raising Cane’s on 949 Commonwealth Ave. reported that $400 was taken from the safe in the building. The manager said on Sept. 29, a man walked into the back office of the restaurant and took money from the store safe, which was open at the time.

PharmaSUEtical Fiasco

A male student reported to BUPD that he forgot to take his debit card out of the ATM at the Bank of America on 700 Comm. Ave. on Oct. 3. The student found later that his card had been used at various drug stores in Randolph.

Save the Earth

On the 15th floor of the School of Law, a student was studying an environmental law book at 2 p.m. on Oct. 4. The student left the room and the book, valued at $160, alone for 10 minutes. When he returned, the textbook was gone. The larceny was reported to the BUPD on Oct. 7.
