The following reports were taken from the Boston University Police Department crime logs from April 11 to April 18, 2011.
Winning
Two intoxicated non-affiliates were arrested outside of the Charlie Sheen tour at the Agganis Arena at 8:45 p.m. on April 11 for disorderly conduct.
When I think about you iTouch myself
At 1 p.m. on April 11 a female student reported that her iTouch was stolen from the College of Arts and Sciences. The case is currently under investigation.
Let me see your grillz
On April 11 at 1:40 p.m. a female non-affiliate on a group tour of the Boston University campus fell and injured her front teeth.
Torpedo of truth
On April 12 at 9:30 p.m. a non-affiliate male assaulted a security guard at the Charlie Sheen performance at the Agganis Arena.
Don’t stop the music
At 5:25 p.m. on April 13 a male student called BUPD because his iPod was stolen from the third floor of Mugar Library while he left his desk for five minutes.
A miner issue
About 17 non-affiliate residents at 16 Miner Street evacuated their building at 9:40 p.m. on April 14 because of a carbon monoxide leak. BUPD relocated these people to the George Sherman Union until the Boston Fire Department cleared the residence later that night.
You’ve got mail
BUPD received a report on April 15 at 5:30 a.m. that a female non-affiliate who was operating under the influence crashed into multiple mailboxes at 64 North Beacon Street.
Ending the day on a bad note
On April 15 at 3:45 p.m. a male employee called BUPD from the parking garage at 700 Commonwealth Ave. because someone bumped into his vehicle and left a note that said, “How dare you park like this – what about others?”
Blunt cruisin’
BUPD found two non-affiliates in a vehicle on 179 Bay State Road on April 16 at 1:45 a.m. The male vehicle owner was in possession of marijuana.
Dean drama
BU police received a report on April 16 at 2:30 p.m. that the dean’s suite at Metropolitan College had been burglarized and electronic items were stolen.
How convenient
On April 16 at 2:50 p.m. a non-affiliate male was caught shoplifting in the City Convenience at the George Sherman Union.
Roll, roll, roll my joint
At 3:45 a.m. on April 17 a bag containing alcohol, pot and rolling paper was discovered outside of 1019 Commonwealth Ave.
Alcohol, my only friend
On April 17 at 9 p.m. a female student at 284 Commonwealth Ave. was charged with being a minor in possession with alcohol.
