Family Guy comes roaring back

The tenth season of “Family Guy” has just begun, marking a decade of hilarious moments with the Griffins. I recently had the privilege to see the premier of Season 10 as well as a bonus feature episode and the episode voted #1 by fans on Facebook.

Needless to say, it was a night full of laughs. The night began with an unreleased episode off the bonus features of the Season 9 DVD. Taking on the, “History of the World”, Seth MacFarlane created a brilliant clip show; using moments from the previous seasons of Family Guy to create a very funny history spoof. Any longtime Family Guy fan will surely appreciate the clips and enjoy recognizing a few if not all of the clips used.

The second episode was chosen in a vote by fans on Facebook. Family Guy allowed fans to vote for their favorite episode of all time choosing, “Road to the Multiverse”; an episode featuring a Brian and Stewie adventure and full of laughs. Off the 8th Season, Road to the Multiverse shows the adventure Brian and Stewie go on when Stewie’s remote control malfunctions and they begin to travel through parallel universes.

Finally, the Season 10 premier arrived. Always finding a new way to make me laugh, this episode added a twist to the theme song which had me laughing before the show actually started. Throughout the episode Peter is forced to face a moral decision between the values of money versus friends. Featuring a few songs, this episode was packed with funny moments; although it lacked some of the usual hilarious clips. I don’t want to give too much away, but I would certainly recommend you tune in for Season 10. Family Guy is consistently one of the funniest shows on tv, and perfect to help you unwind after a long day of studies.
