Women’s Ice Hockey: BU vs. University of North Dakota
It’s never too early for ice hockey. This Friday at 7 p.m. the Walter Brown Arena will play host to the University of North Dakota. With the Terriers ranked second and the Fighting Sioux ranked seventh nationally according to the “USA Today” poll, this is sure to be a competitive game.
LOL Series: As Seen On TV Product Demos
It only cost $19.99 plus shipping and handling, but does it actually work? Stop by BU Central Saturday at 9 p.m. for demonstrations of many of the seemingly phony items one sees on infomercials. Your curiosity will be answered and now you will know if you should buy the product.
Dancing with the Dark: Joan Snyder Prints 1963-2010
The BU Art Gallery at the College of Fine Arts will showcase a retrospective of over three decades of prints by MacArthur award winning artist Joan Snyder Sunday at 1 p.m. So come walk around to expose yourself to the abstract life work of this famed painter.
Sigma Alpha Mu presents: Carnival
The BU fraternity known as “Sammy” will be throwing a festival with food, games, and live music from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday at the BU Beach and Marsh Plaza. While admission is free, most activities like the moonbounce and bungee run cost money. The money raised from this event will go toward fighting Alzheimer ’s disease through the Judy Fund. Enjoy the fall weather and play for prizes while benefiting a worthy cause.
