By the time she got home and called her credit card company, her cards had been used in several places in and around Kenmore Square. A suspect was not found.

Family to the rescue

A female student living in Warren Towers reported on Thursday, Oct. 6 at 10 p.m. that she had repeatedly received unwanted texts from an older male she met at a party a few weeks before. The male does not attend BU, but BUPD contacted the male’s family. No further complaints have been reported.

Double trouble

On Friday, Oct. 7 in front of 135 Bay State Rd., a male student reported walking home at 2:30 a.m. when two suspects on a motor scooter robbed him of his cell phone. The student had been talking on it with his girlfriend when the suspects passed him once and then turned around to pass him again and take his phone. The suspects fled and were not found.

Expensive material

At 1 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 8, the construction staff working on the BU bridge project reported that about $10, 000 worth of aluminum I-beams were stolen over a two day period.
