The following reports were taken from the Boston University Police Department crime logs from Feb. 6 to Feb. 12.
Three males were stopped on the garden area outside of Rich Hall, located at 277 Babcock St. on Feb. 7 at 12:08 a.m. for suspicion of marijuana use.
Two suspects fled from officers while one BU student was stopped and cited for possession of less than one ounce. The student received a civil citation and a $100 fine.
Lock it up
A Dining Services worker at the Fresh Food Co. at West Campus, located at 273 Babcock St., reported his backpack stolen from the employee locker room on Feb. 7 at 5:08 p.m. The backpack contained his cell phone and ID. BUPD said there are surveillance cameras in a nearby stairway and they are investigating.
Not fare
A female student reported being struck by a car while riding her bike outside of 881 Comm. Ave. on Feb. 9 at 2:07 p.m. The student said she was struck by a white taxicab that did not stop after the accident occurred. She sustained minor injuries but refused medical treatment. BUPD advised the student to file an additional report with the Boston Police Department.
Dude, where’s my long board?
A male student reported on Feb. 9 at 3:50 p.m. of leaving his longboard, valued at $200, unattended in College of Arts and Sciences room 326, located at 685 Comm. Ave. When he returned three hours later, the longboard was gone.
Battle wounds
BUPD responded to a medical assist on Feb. 10 at 7:38 p.m. after a female student sustained a knee injury while she demonstrated Chinese sword fighting techniques at a sanctioned event at the George Sherman Union, located at 775 Comm. Ave. The student was transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center for medical treatment.
