Campus Crime Logs: March 26– April 1

The following reports were taken from the Boston University Police Department from March 26 to April 1.

Female student sexually assaulted

A 20-year-old female student reported on March 26 that an unknown male party grabbed her buttocks area while she was walking down Buick Street at approximately 2:20 p.m. The suspect fled from the area, heading southbound on Buick Street onto Commonwealth Avenue and then into an unknown direction. Officers did not find the man. The victim said he was wearing a black shirt with red and white writing on it.

Disorderly conduct reported on Babcock Street

A 19-year-old female student reported a case of disorderly conduct at approximately 11 p.m. on March 26. The student said her boyfriend was loud and caused a disturbance at Rich Hall at 277 Babcock St. Other people living on the floor escorted the male out of the building. There was no physical contact reported during the exchange. The non-affiliated male then left the area.

Shoplifter arrested at Barnes & Noble

Officers arrested and charged a 28-year-old male not affiliated with the university Sunday for shoplifting and trespassing. The man took several items from the Barnes & Noble Bookstore at 660 Beacon St. The stolen items were not reported.
