Book it Around Boston 2024
Saturday, Oct. 5 beginning at 9:30 a.m.; 149 Dudley St., Roxbury, Mass.
This Saturday, the Boston Public Library is partnering with Heartbreak Hill Running Company to host “Book it Around Boston.” Participants can run, walk or bike four routes of varying distances to visit different branches of the library across the city. The routes all start and end at the Roxbury branch. Participants will receive passports to be stamped at each branch they visit.

Boston Wicked Haunt Fest
Sunday, Sept. 29 through Sunday, Nov. 3 from 4 p.m.-10 p.m.; 10 Stack St., Charlestown, Mass.
Approaching the arrival of October, the Boston Wicked Haunt Fest invites all ages to participate in a variety of spooky activities at its fall festival including four different haunted house experiences, fall seasonal snacks and pumpkin painting. Tickets prices vary based on day and time.

Boston Lights: A Lantern Experience
Tuesday, Oct. 1 through Nov. 3 from 5 p.m.-10:30 p.m.; 1 Franklin Park Rd., Boston, Mass.
This year, Franklin Park Zoo has expanded its Boston Lights experience with a new area exclusively for guests, which will feature lantern displays and interactive exhibits. Guests can explore the zoo, participate in scavenger hunts and watch Chinese classical dance performances. Non-member ticket prices vary based on day and time.
