Campus Crime Logs: Jan. 19–25

The following reports were taken from the Boston University Police Department’s crime logs from Jan. 19 to Jan. 25.

Unknown person at 10 Buick St.

At 5:58 a.m. on Jan. 19, an unknown person was reported inside the corridor connecting Student Village I and Student Village II. 

Noise complaint at 273 Babcock St. 

At 11:21 p.m. on Jan. 20, a caller reported a woman yelling in the walkway of Sleeper Hall and Rich Hall. 

Alarm at 10 Buick St.

At 2:44 p.m. on Jan. 20, a panic alarm was set off at the above location.

Lost and found at 140 Bay State Road 

Between 3:20 p.m. and 4:20 p.m. on Jan. 21, a party misplaced their wallet and reported it was taken.

Fire alarm/Code Red at 226 Bay State Road 

At 2:25 p.m. on Jan. 23, the fire alarm was activated at the above location after a pipe burst. The Boston Fire Department was on the scene. 

Public safety hazard at 175 Cambridge St. 

At 4:30 p.m. on Jan. 23, a group of six walked across the ice on the Charles River to Cambridge. Massachusetts State Police was notified. 

Narcotic investigation at 1 University Road

At 4:42 p.m. on Jan. 23, two males were found in a car smoking marijuana. 

Serious medical at 700 Commonwealth Ave. 

At 1:08 a.m. on Jan. 24, a caller witnessed a man on the bathroom floor and was unsure if he was drunk. An ambulance was called but was later canceled. 

Past larceny at 915 Commonwealth Ave. 

Between 5:30 p.m. and 6:20 p.m. on Jan. 24, a person reported the AirTag inside their previously stolen jacket was ringing in the area. 

Assist at 275 Babcock St. 

At 10:33 p.m. on Jan. 24, a Resident Assistant requested an officer after a student refused to provide their information. 

Alcohol violation at 925 Commonwealth Ave.

At 7:47 p.m. on Jan. 24, security reported taking alcohol from a minor.
