YOU ARE ALL SHEEP BEING LED TO THE SLAUGHTER by GonzoDukeZ

Have you ever heard of a Culling Song? It’s an old mystic belief amongst native tribes in Africa and South America. The belief is that if it were to be sung in the proper manner and style, it would inevitably cause the death of one’s enemies. It’s basically a curse. Can you hear it yet? It’s been slowly building over the past year or so. There have been whisperings and mutterings, rumors and murmurs. It’s been gaining in strength for some time now, while you’ve been sitting at the very desk you are likely sitting now, oblivious to the true nature of this song. What does it feel like to be part of a herd? To be just another SACRIFICIAL lamb presented on the altar of MONEY and GREED. Your own wool has blinded you. Maybe you don’t realize it yet, but you’re all in severe jeopardy of losing these jobs that you’ve worked so hard to maintain. These bullshit positions of inconsequence. You’ve already made the sacrifice of being decent human beings in order to gain more POWER over your peers. What you haven’t yet realized is that the Corporate Machine has been grinding its gears with more resonance of late. Meetings have been held in secret and a date has been set for the formal announcement. March 25, 2004 is the day you learn that your days, months, or years as an Abbott Laboratories/Medisense employee have culminated to a grand ending…leaving you with nothing but directions to a job placement agency. How nice of them to point you in the right direction after kicking you out on your asses. You have probably been too concerned with your own wallet sizes to notice that several people around you, contractors for the most part so far, have already been CULLED. I use this term because this is the exact phrase being used by the MONEYMONGERS on Corporate Row. We must “CULL THE HERD”. You are all sheep in their eyes. $$$You mean nothing more than an extra dollar sign.$$$ Another zero on their already fat checks. A new Porsche for Fast Eddie F. himself. Why not? You’re all EXPENDABLE after all. At the end of the day they can happily curl up in bed, knowing their futures with this company are secure. You’re losing your jobs so they can keep theirs and stay in the lifestyle they are accustomed. Want more evidence that you are only animals to them? The plan is to cut down on how many entrances may be used to get in the facility. The A-1 Lobby, C-1 R’D entrance and the E-1 Lobby are to be the only entrances used once the final stanza in this sickening song has begun. You’ve already noticed the addition of a desk and mirror in the E-1 Lobby. Those in POWER right now are so scared of your reaction to this HYPOCRITICAL news, that the facilities department will shortly be installing alarms on all other doors. You will have to pass the Lobby desks, which will be teaming with many more guards than normal. They’ll be there, checking bags and ID’s, making sure you’re not trying to smuggle anything out…or in, as though you were no better than a piece of shit TERRORIST. The real terror is that these corrupt MONEYMONGERS have been planning this for months now. Fast Eddie F.’s site-wide email about how we’re all a team was just a bullshit act to allay the fear that had been growing over the rumors. They aren’t, and have never been, rumors. It’s been their intention all along to, as they love putting it, “CULL THE HERD”. I blame only the people in charge. They have ordered this and wish to keep you all sedate and lackadaisical. This is all because the Corporate Machine fears your reaction to Fast Eddie F.’s HYPOCRITICAL statement. Now, I’m sure you’re thinking that you are clearly an important part of this company. There’s no way you’d be “let go”, which is just a cute way of saying fired, but let me guarantee you this…YOU DON’T MATTER. There has been a list for some time now. On this list is every person within Abbott Laboratories/Medisense. Next to your name is a classification of whether you are an Essential or a Non-Essential worker. I can personally tell you that there are far more Non-Essential workers than there are Essential. I mean more as in a landslide amount. You could win a presidential election with the amount of Non-Essentials. Contractors, Human Resources, Engineers, Security Guards, Cafeteria Workers, Finance, Customer Support, Documentation, Labeling, Marketing, QARA, Facilities, and even certain levels of Management. These people are to be CULLED. Nobody’s job is certain or safe. You may even have been reassured that yours was in no risk, but you’ll soon learn the truth about CORPORATE AMERICA. I’ve been treated like dirt by many of you and that’s always bothered me. Why would you prejudge me based on my station in life? People are people and no matter what they do, whether they are a superstar or a bum, they have feelings and as many problems in life as you. When did you cease to care about each other as people? When you made MONEY the most important thing in your lives. Your CAPITALISM and CONSUMERISM disgust me. You covet MONEY and POWER more than the genuine caring for others. You want only the big house, fast car, and large paycheck. Somewhere along the way you forgot what it meant to be a person. You’ve separated yourselves into ELITIST groups. Someday you might wake up and realize we’re all in this struggle to survive together. It works much better if you help each other, instead of crushing those you deem unworthy under your feet…using their broken backs as a footstool to raise yourselves up higher. Does this apply to all of you? No. There are some of you that treated me with respect and common courtesy. You know who you are because you are so few. Why I’ve done this, I’m not entirely sure. I would like to honestly say that I’ve done this out of the pure generosity of my soul, but that would be a LIE. I think I just can’t stand knowing something like this and not sharing it. There are plenty of people who are to be CULLED and haven’t stepped forward to take a stand, or raise their voice. Instead they go along with these plans and even help to ensure that they go smoothly. I’m just so thoroughly sick and tired of all this disgusting abuse of POWER, all in the name of their Lord God known as GREED. I happily give up my job in order for you to be informed of the gross lack of humanity in those above you. So, maybe you think this was a useless waste of time, and maybe you think I’m just some crazed psychotic with no grip on reality…but in the end I feel like maybe I’ve done something to help you all just a little bit. If not…keep on bleating like the flock of SHEEP you’ve been labeled, as your SHEPHERD drags you, without an ounce of fight left, to be SLAUGHTERED.
