Did anyone else find it necessary for there to be an article about Boston College winning the national hockey championships on the FRONT PAGE of the Free Press? We sure didn’t!
As avid Boston University hockey fans, we hate to hear about BC. Granted they may be a good team, but come on, they are our biggest rivals. To tell you the truth, we didn’t even read the article. As soon as we saw the title, we threw the paper away. What a disappointment it was to see something like that!
Was the point of the article? To get people like us all up in arms? We congratulate you — it worked. Or was the point of it to get people to not even read the rest of the paper? We congratulate you there too.
Maybe we are getting a little too upset, but I am sure there are more of us out there. And of course there are those people out there that don’t care at all either way.
But to all the unwavering BU Hockey fans, take solace in the fact that Midnight Madness is 172 days away!!!!
