Just a request to correct caption on PRC story. That’s me in the photograph, not the curator, and I gave my name to the staff photographer and spoke with her extensively. I am a photgrapher and screenwriter who has had numerous 9/11 photographers in the widely covered Here Is New York exhibit and website, as well as having my images serve as posters for the Wang Center relief fund benefit in November.
As a native downtown New Yorker now living on the South Shore, I have many ties to the area and my husband’s 25-year-old first cousin died in the attack. I had mentioned my encounter with your paper to her father, who has just returned to his New Jersey home from his daugther’s alma mater, Holy Cross, which held a memorial service yesterday. He wanted me to forward the story to him so I was hoping you could fix the caption so I could do that. It’s not the best picture of me, so otherwise I wouldn’t particularly care.
I’ve graced your pages before as part of the anti-greyhound racing movement. Our screenplay on that subject won two international awards this year and we have signed with West Coast management…so you will e hearing more from me!
