Wednesday was April Fools’ Day, and we here at the ‘ol Free Press celebrated by transforming our newspaper into the satirical DFP Today.’ But we weren’t the only ones who had some fun. Here is our list of the people and organizations around Boston University who had the best April Fools’ jokes.

Boston College showed it wasn’t afraid to welcome all kinds of viewpoints to its campus and allowed William Ayers to speak as scheduled . . . JK.

The Howard Gotlieb Archival Research Center fooled CGS students into thinking that it was bringing Martin Luther King, Jr. back to life.

Agganis Arena decided to reward loyal season ticket holders with Frozen Four Tickets . . . not.

Union fooled the student body into thinking it’s relevant.

Students promised Mugar Memorial Library they will leave their rooms and come read its books for once.

David After Dentist claimed he had had oral surgery when, in reality, he was just drunk.

Mike Ross announced he would join the cast of ‘The Real World: Allston,’ then ‘ ‘ ‘ ‘ ‘ ‘ proceeded to huff and puff and blow down any apartment with four or more students living together.

The Daily Free Press reported that the gas leak came from Myles Standish Hall when it was really from our office . . . lo siento. Blame the refried beans.
