The following reports were taken from the Boston University Police Department crime logs for the week of Feb. 21 through Feb. 29.
Three cell phones, a $200 digital camera and a $400 Apple iPod were stolen from the costume room of the Huntington Theatre at 264 Huntington Ave. on the morning of Feb. 26. A caller reported seeing a suspicious looking white male with blond hair and hazel eyes prior to the theft at 10:30 a.m., according to police.
HOW AM I GOING TO BE ABLE TO REMEMBER ANY OF MY IMPORTANT DATES?
A student reported on Feb. 26 that at 1:30 p.m. the student’s backpack was stolen from a classroom in the College of Engineering. The victim reported losing an electric dictionary and a personal planner. There are no suspects.
GROWNUPS DON’T EAT CONDENSED SOUP
A can of Progresso black bean soup careened through the window of two BU students’ room at 519 Beacon St. early on the morning of Feb. 27. The students reported the incident at 2:30 a.m. They said the act was unprovoked.
GROWNUPS DO LOVE ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES
David C. Tirella, 42, of Revere, was arrested for possession of marijuana on the Beacon Street bridge over the Massachusetts Turnpike at 11:20 p.m. on Feb. 26.
Boston University Police Department officials received a call about a suspicious person sitting in a car parked at 712 Beacon St. Police found two small plastic bags of marijuana in Tirella’s car.
NOT THOSE KINDS OF DRUGS, OFFICER
BUPD arrested two men at the Boston Medical Center Feb. 27 on outstanding narcotics warrants. Boston resident Dennis Lovings, 52, was arrested at about 9:30 a.m. and Boston resident Hector Osario, 46, was arrested at about 4 p.m.
UNDERAGE DRINKING, AND DRINKING IN PUBLIC AND RESISTING COPS AND FIGHTING COPS AND THEN GOING TO JAIL … YAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!
Nineteen-year-old College of Arts and Sciences student Jonathan Colburn was arrested for being a minor in possession of alcohol, drinking in public, resisting arrest, assault and battery of a police officer and illegal possession of marijuana on Feb. 27 at 11:45 p.m.
Police said one thing led to another after Colburn was spotted drinking at 285 Babcock St. and was approached by BU police officers.

A student reported a laptop missing from the student’s bedroom desk located in the Spanish House on 164 Bay State Rd. at 6:15 p.m. on Feb. 29.
