n I was so appalled when reading the letter questioning Mark DiCristofaro’s character (“DiCristofaro has ‘no shame,'” April 18, p. 8) that I felt the need to respond all the way from Spain.
I have been a long-time friend of DiCristofaro’s, and I can say from a woman’s standpoint that he is the most respectful and loyal man — and friend. Facebook.com groups have no more value than gossip, and that group was clearly a silly attempt at comedy.
Furthermore, I know the group was made by another student without DiCristofaro’s knowledge or input. DiCristofaro’s values should never be questioned, as he is an upstanding student and key part of the community, and would never desire to offend or hurt anybody.
