The Boston University women’s basketball team announced that Glenn Senecal and Kathryn Otwell joined head coach Margaret McKeon’s staff in August. Senecal was an assistant coach at Bryant College in Rhode Island for 10 years before spending last year as a head coach at the high school level. Otwell played for KFI Iceland last season in a European league and coached a KFI division II team. She graduated from Hardins-Simmons University in 1999, and was an All-American. BU went 17-11 last season and will open the year against Vanderbilt on November 23…
James Nesworthy, who coached BU crew for 16 years from 1948-1964, died this summer. As the former president of the Association of Rowing Coaches of America, Nesworthy was inducted into the National Rowing Foundation’s Book of Honor in 1995.
