The following reports were taken from the Boston University Police Department crime logs for Oct. 15 to Oct. 21.
BUPD officers investigated a possible vehicle break-in at 12:11 a.m. Oct. 20 at 712 Beacon St.
A suitcase filled with jewelry was located in an alley near the car. The case was turned over to Boston Police for further investigation.
Car Break-in and Entry
BUPD received a report at 5:22 p.m. Oct. 15 from a party whose vehicle was broken into while parked in the rear of a building at 500 Commonwealth Ave.
The party filed a report with the Boston Police Department.
In Clear Sight
BUPD officers observed a group of people near a motor vehicle at 278 Babcock St. at 2:38 a.m. Oct. 21 and smelled a strong scent of marijuana from the group.
BUPD officers placed two parties under arrest for Possession of a Class D Substance with Intent to Distribute.
Seizure
BUPD received a report at 9:51 p.m. Oct. 21 of a male party having seizures at the George Sherman Union.
The victim was transported to Beth Israel Hospital.
Talk the Talk, Walk the Walk
A BUPD officer reported at 12:47 a.m. Oct. 15 an intoxicated female party having difficulty standing at the corner of Mountfort and St. Mary’s streets.
The victim was transported to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital and was later issued a judicial referral.
Where’s my Waldo?
BUPD received a call at 3:08 a.m. Oct. 15 from a female party who said her boyfriend was intoxicated and may be asleep near the Hyatt Regency hotel.
A BUPD officer checked the area and was unable to locate the party.
Harassment
BUPD received a report at 2:19 p.m. Oct. 16 of several parties harassing people in a building at 685 Commonwealth Ave.
BUPD officers reported the parties were gone prior to their arrival.
Don’t Forget your Keys!
BUPD received a report at 8:49 p.m. Oct. 16 of a party trying to open a car door with a coat hanger at the intersection of Beacon Street and Park Drive.
BUPD officers reported the party was the owner of the vehicle.
Allergic Reaction
BUPD received a report at 8:55 a.m. Oct. 17 of a party having an allergic reaction at the Student Village.
The victim was transported to Boston Emergency Medical Services.
What Once was Lost, Now is Found
A Facilities Management supervisor asked a BUPD officer at 5:34 a.m. Oct. 18 to check out a scooter parked on the sidewalk at Myles Standish Hall.
The supervisor believed the scooter may have been stolen, but the officer reported that the scooter checked out.
Break-in and Entry
BUPD received a report at 5:22 p.m. Oct. 18 from a party whose office was broken into at 650 Beacon St.
A computer and printer were stolen from the office. The case is still under BUPD investigation.
Risky Bikes
BUPD received a report at 2:28 p.m. Oct. 19 of people on bikes doing tricks and riding in a hazardous manner at 590 Commonwealth Ave.
BUPD officers warned the parties and removed them from the area.
Nasty Fall
A BUPD officer checked on a party who fell off a bike at 94 Pleasant St. at 12:50 a.m. Oct. 20.
The victim was transported to Beth Israel Hospital.
Where am I? Who am I?
BUPD received a report at 8:17 a.m. Oct. 20 of a disoriented and confused party at 725 Commonwealth Ave.
The victim was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital.
How’d That Happen?
BUPD received a report at 6:43 p.m. Oct. 20 of a male party with a laceration to his eye at 925 Commonwealth Ave.
The party was transported to Beth Israel Hospital.
Ding-Dong Ditch
BUPD received a report at 10:24 p.m. Oct. 20 of a male party walking up to door stoops around 61 Bay State Road.
BUPD officers reported the party was gone prior to its arrival.
Alcohol Violation
BUPD met with the staff from the Office of Residence Life at 12:29 a.m. Oct. 21 about a party with alcohol at Myles Standish Hall.
The BUPD officer reported the ORL will handle the incident.
Drunk Bay Stater
BUPD received a report at 2:09 a.m. Oct. 21 of an intoxicated male party at Shelton Hall.
The victim was transported to Beth Israel Hospital and issued a judicial referral.
Drunk Driver
BUPD received a report at 2:19 a.m. Oct. 21 of a vehicle traveling the wrong way near 116 Bay State Rd.
A BUPD officer reported the driver was intoxicated.
The party was placed into protective custody and transported to the station.
