The following reports were taken from the Allston-Brighton District D-14 crime logs from Nov. 7-13
Just after 8 p.m. Nov. 9 officers responded to a call from a 21-year-old female student who said she and a 23-year-old classmate at EF International School of English were robbed at gunpoint on Lake Street in Brighton outside their school.
Upon exiting the school, two men wearing masks and dressed in all black jumped from a patch of bushes and approached the victim, according to the police report.
One of the suspects pressed a silver handgun to the victim’s forehead and demanded her bag. The suspect then forcibly removed the victim’s handbag from her shoulder before running away with the other suspect toward Washington Street.
The victim’s handbag contained a passport, credit cards and personal papers. Responding officers searched the area to no avail.

As officers attempted to move the crowd, they saw a woman slap a man in the face. The man then slapped the woman back.
While officers handcuffed the man, two other men tried to stop them from making the arrest. One of the men assaulted an officer.
The man and woman involved in the slap fight were both arrested for assault and for being disorderly. The man who assaulted the officer was arrested for assault and battery on a police officer and for being disorderly.
Stupidity leaves criminal breathless
Just after noon Nov. 10 officers responded to a radio call for a person with a warrant on Orton Marta Way in South Boston.
Officers searched the area for the suspect but found no one who matched the description. Shortly after, a woman approached officers on the sidewalk informing them the suspect was inside a residence.
Officers entered the residence and found the suspect talking on a cellphone in the kitchen with his back to the officers and a knife in his watchband.
The suspect became violent when cops tried to remove his knife. Despite officers’ commands to stop resisting, the suspect forced one officer in the hallway and pinned him against the wall. The struggle moved outside before officers could secure the knife.
The suspect was forced facedown on the sidewalk and handcuffed, suffering a minor cut to his left eye.
During transport to custody, officers noticed the suspect digging in his back pockets and discovered four green pills on the floor.
Once in the holding cell, the suspect refused to breathe. Officers indicated that he was under the influence of a substance and transported him to Boston Medical Center for treatment.
The suspect was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon on a police officer, dangerous weapons unlawfully carried, possession of class C drugs and resisting arrest.
An officer was also treated at the BMC for a possible head injury.
