A caller reported his ‘dress clothes’ stolen from his office in the George Sherman Union at 5:31 p.m. Oct.1.
TOTO, WE’RE NOT IN NORTH CAROLINA ANYMORE
A caller at Shelton Hall reported her North Carolina license plate stolen from her car within the last two days at 10:14 p.m. Oct. 2.
ARTISTIC INTEGRITY
A caller reported a large painting left unattended leaning against a vehicle at Agganis Arena at 9:21 a.m. Oct. 3. BUPD located the vehicle’s owner and left the owner a phone message.
NO TIME IN THE CAN
BUPD responded to homeless people drinking by the dumpster at Danielsen Hall at 11:53 a.m. Oct. 3. It turned out the people were not drinking, but just taking a break from their collecting cans for recycling.
MAMA MIA! GET OUT!
A caller reported an ‘unwanted person’ in his pizza shop at 270 Babcock St. at 11:54 p.m. Oct. 3. BUPD removed the person from the area.
TRIAL AND ERROR
BUPD responded to a breaking and entering alarm on the third floor computer room at 730 Commonwealth Ave. at 10:02 a.m. Oct. 4. When BUPD investigated, it turned out people were entering the wrong codes for entry into the room.
iSTEAL
A caller reported his iPod stolen at 10 Buick St. at 11:22 a.m. Oct. 4.
YOU LEAVE ME BREATHLESS
A caller at Claflin Hall reported that her roommate was having difficulty breathing at 5:27 p.m. Oct. 4. Her roommate had a history of breathing issues, and was transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
I LIKE MY CLOTHES CRISPY
BUPD responded to a fire alarm at 722 Commonwealth Ave. at 9:10 p.m. Oct. 5 caused by a fire coming from an overloaded dryer.
SLEEPYHEAD
A caller reported a man sleeping in the lobby of 575 Commonwealth Avenue at 4:00 a.m. on Oct. 5.
BYE-BYE BIKEY
A caller reported that her bike ‘may have been stolen’ at 204 Bay State Road at 4:38 p.m. Oct. 5. She said her bike was attached to a parking meter.
NIGHT TIME DISAPPEARANCE
A caller at 575 Commonwealth Ave. reported her wallet was stolen ‘sometime last night’ at 6:57 p.m. Oct. 5.
RAD: ROOMMATE AGGRESSION DEFENSE
A caller reported that her roommate was harassing her at the Center for Defense Journalism at 6:54 p.m. Oct. 5.
