A School of Management junior was found dead after falling at the Doubletree Guest Suites Boston, the Boston Police Department said.
Adam Robert Engel, an honors student and business administration major from Old Bethpage, NY, was pronounced dead on the scene by EMS after receiving a report at 12:43 a.m. of a person who fell, BPD spokesman David Estrada said.
The death is under investigation and no foul play is suspected, Estrada said. The medical examiner's office will determine the cause of death.
Dean of Students Kenneth Elmore notified students of Engel's death in an email to the student body.
"Our community has suffered a great loss," Elmore said. "During this time I encourage us to reach out to each other, and our families, in sympathy and support."
