A man who said that two women seduced him, impersonated police and then robbed him approached police last Friday in downtown Boston. The victim told police that the two women asked if the man wanted to have a "good time." When the man said yes, the women directed him to touch one of their breasts. The two women then pushed the man against a wall and said that the man was under arrest and that they were the police. One woman then took valuables from the man's pocket and the two walked away. The police broadcasted the victim's description of the two women. Police found three women, one of whom had a man held by the neck. When the officers approached the women, one of them gave the officer a black wallet. The second victim also told officers that the women had impersonated police.
<strong>Their Eyes Were Watching Cars</strong>
At 6 p.m. Sunday evening in downtown Boston, a witness approached police and told them that he and some friends saw a man take items from a car window after hearing glass breaking. The witness' friends then followed the suspect into the Boston Common, they said. The police apprehended the suspect in the Common where he was positively identified.
<strong>Wacky Tobacky </strong>
Officers chased a suspect down Boylston Street after a witness reported that the man had robbed a Tedeschi Food Shop Friday morning. The police apprehended the suspect on Dartmouth Street, where the suspect then confessed to stealing cigarettes. "I know it was stupid, I took the cigarettes," the man told police. Officers arrested the suspect and found three packs of cigarettes on his person. Police later learned that the suspect had asked for three packs of cigarettes, and after the cigarettes were brought from behind the counter, the suspect took the cigarettes and ran.
<strong>Police arrest dog abuser</strong>
In Jamaica Plain last Thursday, police received a call from a witness who said that that they had observed a man hitting, punching and kicking a dog. Police approached the man with the dog who then provided the police with name that did not match police information. When the man's identity was determined, police found that the suspect had several warrants. After the suspect realized that the police had discovered his name he shouted, "You're not taking me!" and ran. Police apprehended the suspect and placed him under arrest.
