The following reports were taken from the Boston University Police Department crime logs from Feb. 22 to Feb. 28.
On Feb. 22, BUPD received a call from the College of Arts and Sciences at 8:50 a.m. saying that computers and electronic accessories had been stolen from some of the offices between Feb. 17 and Feb. 22.
iPhone the BUPD
An iPhone was stolen from the common area at 1 University Road from a female student who called BUPD on Feb. 22 at 1:40 p.m.
Phony surprise
On Feb. 24 at 9 p.m., BUPD received a call from an employee who claimed that someone had stolen his iPhone from his vehicle, which was parked near 730 Commonwealth Avenue.
Lock and load
At 11:30 a.m. on Feb. 24 a female student called BUPD because her purse and debit card were stolen from her unlocked dormitory while she was out.
A smashing good time
On Feb. 25 at 6 p.m. a female student reported that the window of her vehicle was smashed while it was parked near the Agganis Arena. However, nothing was stolen from the vehicle.
Friendly theft
A female student called BUPD on Feb. 26 at 11 a.m. because her iPad had been stolen from her dorm room at Rich Hall. She said that visitors had been in and out of her room on the previous night.
What in Davey Jones’ locker?
On Feb. 26 at 9:20 p.m. a female employee at the Agganis Arena reported that her iPod and cash had been stolen from an unlocked locker while she was working.
I drink to that
BUPD officers in plain clothes encountered three underage males in possession of alcohol at 8:30 p.m. on Feb. 26 near 74 St. Mary’s Street.
Completely baked
On Feb. 27 at 12:30 p.m., a male student living at 37 Buswell St. was using his oven when it caught on fire. The Boston Fire Department responded and put out the fire.
