City Crime Logs: Sept. 4-5

The following crime reports were taken from the Boston Police Department crime logs from Sept. 4-5.

Fugitive charged in Brighton

Members of the Youth Violence Strike Force charged a suspect at 301 Washington St. with being a fugitive from justice on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Officers placed the suspect under arrest due to two warrants from the Middlesex County prosecutor’s office in New Jersey. The suspect is being charged with homicide.

Death investigation reported in Allston

Officers responded to a call for cardiac arrest at 6 Quint Ave. at 12:29 p.m. on Monday. Upon arrival, officers found Boston Fire, Boston EMS and Boston Paramedics already on scene. One paramedic was performing CPR on the victim but the victim was pronounced dead at 12:52 p.m. The medical examiner responded at 2:05 p.m. and took custody of the body.

Threatening messages via cellphone reported in Brighton

A victim filed a threat report at 11:12 a.m. on Tuesday which stated that the victim had received a threatening voicemail message at 9:22 a.m. that morning. The victim said that the voicemail contained threats to kill the victim and their family members. The suspect also sent pictures of decapitated heads and threatened to do the same to the victim and their family after asking for money that was owed to the suspect.
