The executive chefs from three Boston University dining halls — Warren, West and Marciano — competed Thursday for the title of most popular pasta dish.

All dining halls had the three pasta dishes. Students were able to vote in a Twitter poll which pasta dish they thought was best. Warren Towers’ “seafood cioppino” won with 38 percent of the vote.

The seafood cioppino was created by Orlando Andrade, executive chef of Warren Towers Dining.

Executive Chef of West Campus Dining Chris Graceffa created “linguine with pancetta,” which received 27 percent of the vote.

Executive Chef of Marciano Commons Armand Toutaint created “chocolate pasta,” which received 36 percent of the vote.

The Twitter poll received 45 total votes.

This was the first chef competition BU Dining Services held this semester.

  1. Honestly it was pretty boring and a little too much pasta overload.
