Chipotle bowl named after BU’s Zegras

Chipotle Mexican Grill is honoring a Boston University men’s hockey alumnus with the “The Trevor Zegras MVP Bowl,” available for a limited time.

Zegras played for the United States in the World Junior Ice Hockey Championships, where the Americans bested Canada in the finals to win the tournament. Zegras was awarded tournament MVP honors with his 18 points (7g, 11a) throughout seven games.

Chipotle Mexican Grill has honored former BU men’s hockey player Trevor Zegras with the ‘Trevor Zegras MVP Bowl”. Zegras was awarded MVP of the World Junior Ice Hockey Championships in January.

Chipotle was a sponsor of the U.S. team during the WJIHC and its logo was featured prominently on the USA juniors’ helmets and sleeves.

Zegras played for the Terriers as a freshman in the 2019-20 campaign, which was shortened due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He was then selected by the Anaheim Ducks with the ninth overall pick of the 2019 NHL draft.

The Trevor Zegras MVP Bowl has brown rice, chicken, roasted chili-corn salsa, cheese and guacamole. The bowl is available for purchase for a limited time on the Chipotle app, and from Chipotle.com.
