Campus Crime Logs: Sept. 15-21

The following reports were taken from the Boston University Police Department’s crime logs from Sept. 15 to Sept. 21.

Intoxicated Party at 40 Malvern St. 

At 1:08 a.m. on Sept. 15, a caller reported that their friend was intoxicated. The party was unresponsive on the scene and sent to St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center.

Hazardous Condition at 725 Commonwealth Ave. 

At 10:29 a.m. on Sept. 15, BU Facilities reported a box of syringes outside. 

Elevator Entrapment at 273 Babcock St. 

At 5:52 p.m. on Sept. 15, Claflin Hall security reported parties trapped in an elevator. Boston Fire Department was notified and removed both parties. The elevator was taken out of service.

Non-Emergency Medical Call at 910 Commonwealth Ave.

At 3:16 p.m. on Sept. 16, a caller reported a collision between a cyclist and pedestrian. Neither party requested an ambulance. 

Suspicious Person at 771 Commonwealth Ave. 

At 12:19 p.m. on Sept. 17, a female party reported a male party following her around the library. She said the male party had gone to all six floors to find her and inquired about her friend. The suspect was wearing an orange sweatshirt and white shorts. 

Attempt to Commit Crime at 602 Commonwealth Ave.

At 5:42 p.m. on Sept. 18, a caller reported witnessing two males attempt to steal a scooter. 

Hit Pedestrian At Babcock Street and Brave’s Field Way 

At 6:34 p.m. on Sept. 18, the Boston Police Department reported a motor vehicle collision with a party on a scooter. BFD and BPD were on the scene.  

Well Being Check at 12 Arundel St.

At 3 a.m. on Sept. 19, an officer noticed an individual sleeping in their car.

Fire Alarm/Code Red at 100 Bay State Rd.

At 9:05 p.m. on Sept. 20, the fire alarm went off at Marciano Dining Hall. BFD arrived on the scene. 

Well Being Check at 989 Commonwealth Ave.

At 12:44 a.m. on Sept. 21, a caller reported a party was possibly slumped over in the alleyway between the above address and 1001 Commonwealth Ave. Armstrong Ambulance was notified and EMS was on scene.
