Take-out? Take you out!

The following reports were taken from the Boston Police Department Allston-Brighton District D-14 crime logs from Sept. 18 to 27.

Officers responded to a report of threats to do bodily harm around 9 p.m. Sept. 26. When officers arrived, a man told them he had called Dragon Wok restaurant to place an order and said the employee he spoke to was rude and hung up on him. The man called the restaurant again from a different phone number and placed his order. He paid for the food with a friend’s credit card and, when it was delivered, and wrote on the back of the receipt, ‘Whoever answers the phone is a complete a-hole.’ A Dragon Wok employee called the man back and told him, ‘If you have a problem with me, come down here and I’ll kick your a-.’ Police went to the restaurant and spoke with the employee who made the call. The man said he called the customer and made the statement because of the note, but said that, as far as he was concerned, the issue was over.

NOT TONIGHT, I’VE GOT A HEADACHE

Officers received a report of a shoplifter in custody at a Stop and Shop grocery store at 4:15 p.m. Sept. 26.Officers spoke to the store’s security guard, who said he saw a man fill a basket with 51 items from the Health and Beauty Aids aisle. The items he attempted to steal included Advil, Aleve, Motrin and Trojan condoms with a total value of $421.77. Police transported the man to the station and booked him ‘in the usual way.’

IT’S MY RIGHT

A man told officers a bouncer at The Kells bar assaulted him around 2 a.m. Sept. 27. The man said the bouncer told him to clear the sidewalk and, when he refused to move on two separate occasions, the bouncer pushed him and tore his shirt. When the man and a friend went to report the disturbance at the police station, the man’s friend kept interrupting and making it difficult for the officer to file the report. The friend was told to sit down, but he refused and said it was his right to stand wherever he wanted. He started taking cell phone pictures of the police sitting behind the desk. An officer told the man to stop taking photos. The man reporting the assault then said, ‘it is live streaming to my home computer.’ His friend was arrested for disorderly conduct and violating a law against secretly recording video without consent of all parties involved.

OLD STONERS

Officers conducting a search warrant at 10:35 p.m. Sept. 18 arrested two people for possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute. The officers searched the apartment occupied by a’ 46-year-old man and 62-year-old woman and found two large marijuana plants on their balcony, a box of plastic bags and a scale in the kitchen. Prior to obtaining the search warrant, police had found two large plastic bags of marijuana.
