CITY CRIME LOGS: March 25 to April 1

The following crime reports were taken from the Allston-Brighton D-14 crime logs from March 25 to April 1.

Suspect arrested after assaulting officer 

At about 12:45 a.m. Friday morning, a fight broke out in front of Wonder Bar, located at 186 Harvard Ave. A large group of males made up of several separate parties exchanged blows.

When the fight carried onto the street, officers moved to separate the participants. One of the suspects punched the officer above the left eye before fleeing into the bar. Police arrested the suspect in the establishment and brought him to D-14 for booking. The other men stopped fighting and fled the scene when more officers arrived.

Suspect forces through porch 

Later Friday, at 6:43 p.m., officers received a radio call to 8 Royce Rd. for a breaking and entering. The victims claimed that unknown persons entered the apartment through the rear porch door. According to the victims, three laptops, an iPad, a digital camera and jewelry were missing.

Victim robbed while walking around

Police arrived at 1426 Commonwealth Ave. around 11:00 p.m. Friday night for a reported robbery. The victim said when he walked near the intersection of Kelton Street and Commonwealth Avenue, a female suspect exited a blue car then took his wallet and iPhone out of his hands. The suspect ran off toward Harvard Avenue and was not found by officers.

Suspect punches victim over cigarette 

At 2:08 a.m. Sunday, officers received a call to 116 Brighton Ave. for a reported assault. The victim told police officers that an unknown male approached him and his friend asking for a cigarette. When the victim said he did not have one to give, the suspect punched him on the left side of his face. The victim also sustained a cut to the ear. The suspect escaped in a car.
