Free speech group assembles at Boston Common, protests nationwide Rally Against Family Separation

Thousands rallied Saturday at the Boston Common to oppose President Donald Trump’s immigration policies after hearing emotional stories of migrant children being torn from their families at the United States-Mexico border. The rally, titled the “Rally Against Family Separation,” was the Boston branch of a nationwide movement. Boston marchers were met with opposition from members of the Boston Free Speech organization. The counterprotesters were surrounded by police for their protection and escorted out of the Common.

CORRECTION: A previous version of this video incorrectly labled the counterprotesters as belonging to a neo-Nazi group. The Boston Free Speech organization has since taken credit for the counterprotest. An updated version reflects this correction.

  1. The Boston Free Speech organization is a front group for Neo-Nazis.

  2. The Boston Free Speech Organization is a front group for Neo-Nazis. They are the same group who has been organizing the Neo-Nazi rallies over the past year.

    • Thank you for the correction. The Boston Free Speech Organization has done nothing to indiciate they are a far-right group. The fact that they are so controversial to Leftists says more about the radicalism on that side than anything. Free Speech rights should be celebrated, not attacked.
