Campus crime logs: April 10–15

The following reports were taken from the Boston University Police Department crime logs between April 10–15.

Tree spray-painted outside Law building

An employee from Facilities Management and Planning reported vandalism to a tree adjacent to the spray-painted rock behind the School of Law building between 7 and 8:28 a.m. on Wednesday, April 10.

Harassing phone calls at Towers

At 3:01 a.m. on Thursday, April 11, a male caller reported he was receiving verbally abusive and threatening phone calls from China. The reporter stated he could not return the call, but the number kept calling back.

Discriminatory written threat at Warren

A resident assistant at Warren Towers stated at 3:22 p.m. on Friday that a student may have sent hate mail to their roommate.

Fight at 45 Ashford St.

An anonymous tip reported an altercation between two males, one believed to be a resident of the address, in front of 45 Ashford St. at 2:37 a.m. Saturday. One allegedly screamed he would fight the other “in the name of Christ.” The Boston Police Department was also dispatched, parties were dispersed and no injuries were sustained.

Intoxicated man on T tracks

A resident assistant at Warren Towers reported a drunk male wandering on train tracks in front of the dorm at 7:02 p.m. on Monday. The MBTA Transit Police Department was notified. When approached, the man stated he was just lost looking for the train.
