In a roller coaster of a game, the Boston University men’s basketball team prevailed over Loyola University Maryland on Sunday in overtime, 82-79.

Women’s basketball team secures league win against Army

The Boston University women's basketball team (14-9, 6-6 Patriot League) bounced back after their last loss and beat Army West Point (10-12, 7-5 PL) 72-64 on Wednesday. Despite taking a loss against Bucknell on their homecourt last Saturday, the Terriers returned with even more precision, energy and determination.

Men’s basketball clinches win in final seconds against Lehigh

Four seconds left — Boston University senior guard Miles Brewster on the foul line. A 1-point game, resting in the hands of Brewster, who was about to flip a game the Terriers trailed for the most part into a last-second win. The crowd leapt to their feet and shook Case Gym –– Brewster made both free throws, snagging a BU win over Lehigh University, 72-71.

Women’s basketball drops Turnpike Trophy contest to Holy Cross, 61-50

The last time the Boston University women’s basketball team faced College of the Holy Cross, the Crusaders ended BU’s dreams of making the NCAA tournament in heartbreaking fashion in the Patriot League Finals. Holy Cross (14-6, 8-1 Patriot League) proved once again to be a hurdle the Terriers (13-7, 5-4 PL) could not clear. BU lost the Turnpike Trophy matchup 61-50 on Monday afternoon.
