The following reports were taken from the Boston Police Department crime logs from Jan. 19 to Jan. 23.
Police responded to a disturbing the peace complaint caused by a party at 30 Pennman Rd. at 12:35 a.m. on Jan. 23. Officers at the premises rang the bell several times while party attendees waved and laughed at them. One yelled, ‘We can’t hear you! We can’t hear you!’
PARKING RAGE
A woman reported at 11:42 a.m. on Jan. 23 that her rental car had been vandalized in a public parking lot at 151 Harvard Ave. The victim reported a fight the night before with a driver who claimed the spot she parked in was his as he had seen it first. When she refused to vacate it, he said, ‘I’ll get you,’ and ‘I’ll come back and slash your tires.’ She returned later and found both of her front tires were flat.
CAN iPHONE AND LEAVE
Police responded to a caller reporting her iPhone had been stolen at 8:20 p.m. at 1295 Commonwealth Ave. on Jan. 19. She said she had been approached by a man asking her to dial a number for him as he had been waiting outside trying to get in the building. After getting a hold of someone to let him in, the suspect fled with the victim’s phone, closing the door behind him.
NO PARKING, STEREO WILL BE TOWED
A caller reported that a man was removing her car registration and stereo faceplate from her car at 1:14 p.m. at 38 Newcastle Rd on Jan. 22. When police arrived, the suspect explained he had received a parking ticket yesterday because the caller had parked her car in his parking spot, and was leaving a note on her car to ask her to repay him. He said he was removing the stereo so she would call him back.
SANTA TOOK HIS STUFF BACK
Police responded to a breaking and entering call at 12:00pm at 9 Gardner Terrace on Jan. 21. Upon arrival, police spoke to a man who reported a 52-inch flat screen was missing as well as a PlayStation3, from his brother’s apartment. The brother had been out of the country since Dec. 21.
GONE FOR A TEST DRIVE
A man reported at 4:40pm on Jan. 23 that his car had been stolen from Herb Chamber’s BMW dealership located at 1168 Commonwealth Ave. The car was being serviced when it was stolen’
