According to Boston University women’s hockey coach Brian Durocher, University of New Hampshire star Jenn Wakefield will be playing for Hockey East rival BU, come next season.
In Wakefield’s freshman year, she led Hockey East in scoring with 27 goals and ranked third in total points with 46. As a sophomore, she improved upon her freshman statistics, once again leading the league with 32 goals, but ranking second overall in points with 49.

Wakefield decided to sit out of collegiate play this season in order to play with Team Canada.

Terrier fans can take pleasure in knowing that BU will add Wakefield to a solid arsenal of returning players next season.
